Bodies/Cities is a triptych of instructive scores which explore the relationship between two architectures, seeking to destabilize a set of static configurations into dynamic, shifting relationships.
Each piece constructs a unique situation, comprised of the participants body, the immediate environment and their performative interpretation. Tunneling utilizes a recorded trajectory which ignores obstacles to create a straight incision through a variety of public and private spaces. See Level investigates how the gaze intersects with surfaces and structures. In Nachmacher performers make small interventions in their bodies or their city in order for one to imitate the other.
